Plainfield Visit

Here are some of the highlights (or repeated activities) that Maggie did at Nana and Papa's house in Plainfield.

Maggie played outside in her house and made Papa come inside for tea.

Kissing her cousin Kian. Maggie got to spend a lot of time with cousins that she hasn't seen since Christmas.

Road Trip!

Maggie and Mommy drove from Denver to Plainfield with Emily, Kendall and Maddy on Sunday. What was supposed to be a 14 hour trip became a 17 hour trip so it was a LONG day. But Maggie did a great job!

Aunt Em came out to visit with Kendall and Maddy. Maggie loved the girls and all of the extra attention that she got from them!

Summer Fun

We've had a lot of fun this summer going to the Denver Zoo. Maggie's favorite animal, at least for now, is the hippo. We would watch the hippo take mud baths and swim in the water for about 20 minutes each time we went. This is how she watches him :)

Big Girl Bed

Maggie now sleeps in a big girl bed!! This happened because she managed to crawl over her crib one day and thankfully wasn't hurt. We decided rather than chance it we'd try transitioning to a big bed. She loves to play in it during the day- going to sleep in it is another story still. The first two nights were really rough. The third and fourth nights she did ok as long as mom or dad was laying in bed with her until she fell asleep. My baby is getting so old!

A Morning at the Zoo

We live about a 10 minute bike ride from the Denver Zoo, so we like to go to the zoo quite a bit to see Maggie's favorite animals. Lately, we've been going in the morning, when it's still cool out and the animals are more active (plus there is no one else there!). Maggie found flamingos and loves them now! Actually rode in her stroller! This big girl loves to walk on her own now!

Summer Fun!

We went to the fountain outside of the Denver Museum of Nature and Science to play on a hot day! Maggie had a picnic with her friend Nora. She was nervous about the water at first but eventually was running through it with us!
