Oliver rolled from his tummy to his back today in his crib!

Mothers day

We celebrated a cold snowy mothers day by eating breakfast at home, going to the greenhouse to pick out flowers, going to a gymnastics birthday party, hanging out at home and going out for pizza...it was great! Mom got some fun pictures of the kids, a fancy cheese grater, flowers, gardening tools and praying mantis!! But spending the day together was the best part of the day! Maggie said that there should be children's day :-)

Reading

Maggie loves reading and is doing great with it...she end of kindergarten, she is at a middle of 1st grade reading level.

Finger sucking

Oliver will suck any finger he can get into his mouth, except his thumb!

Costume night

Tonight mag got her recital costumes...their class practiced each dance in the costumes

First fishing trip

Daddy took Ollie to the arsenal for their first fishing trip...they caught a pike.

Play date

Maggie loves having playdates...recently they have consisted of building forts and reading books

Mommy back at work

Mommy went back to work today... with Maggie! Oliver started home with daddy.  They had a great day, except for Oliver refusing to take a bottle :/ thankfully it was only one feeding. But Ollie is super lucky and excited to have a week with daddy.

At three am, I hear and feel something hit the side of the bed. I realize Oliver has rocked his bassinet into the bed. When I look at him, in the dark, he lets out a giggle. We are in trouble :-)
