1st Steps

After lots of practice walking with help- Maggie took her first steps!! She seemed surprised by the steps herself. She would still prefer to crawl but soon will be walking!

1st Cubs Game

The Cubs came to Denver this summer for a four game series. While Maggie loves the Cubs- she only made it out to one game (the others were past her bedtime). She had a great time watching all of the excitement at the ballpark...



... so much fun that it was exhausting so she took a short nap in the middle of the game...


... but woke up in time for the seventh inning stretch... Maggie loves singing Take Me Out to the Ballgame.

Curious

Maggie loves to explore. She's in a stage where she is trying to get into everything... we are quickly learning what it means to baby proof!

Camping

Maggie went on her first camping trip. We were worried about how she would do in a tent, outside for hours at a time .... But she did amazing! She loved it! She was in such a good mood the whole time we were camping- even though it rained most of the time we were there! She loved playing in the tent, sitting by the fire, even sleeping in a sleeping bag. We were so excited- now there will be many more trips to come!!

1st Baby Sign

Maggie has been learning some baby sign since she was about 2 weeks old. She has just started to use the signs to let us know when she wants "more" of something or when she is "all done". We love that she has the ability to communicate these things to us- because when she doesn't sign- she screams! :)

Maggie Walking

Maggie is really close to walking. She got a stroller to push her babies in and wants to walk behind it all the time now! She hasn't learned how to turn it yet :)
