Santa

We thought it would be fun to take Maggie to see Santa this year. She got her Christmas dress on and her new red shoes ... from afar she liked to look at him. But as soon as we got close- she wanted nothing to do with him. Maybe next year :)

Christmas Season is Here!

In Denver, the lights on City Hall are illuminated the night after Thanksgiving. This was our second year going to watch the lights get turned on (with Uncle Aaron). This year Maggie was actually awake and enjoyed the lights!

Turducken!

This Thanksgiving Brady cooked his 4th turducken! It turned out great- once again! We also decided to make Maggie a turducken for the day too (thanks to Uncle Aaron's silk screening) :)
Hope you had a great day!

First ER Visit

Last night, Maggie was walking in her room and fell into the corner of her dresser. She hit her head just right and was bleeding pretty good. After about 10 minutes, when the bleeding didn't slow, Maggie took her first trip to the Emergency Room. Maggie needed 3 stitches to patch up her forehead. She did such a good job at the hospital, she didn't like being held down while the doctor worked but she loved watching him stitch up her head. When he was finished, she signed Thank You. Here's Maggie pointing to her BooBoo when she was asked where she fell (Kitty has a band-aid too- which Maggie kept kissing).

She quickly forgot about her head and played some peek-a-boo with her blanket.

Sorry to anyone who has a weak stomach- here are Maggie's three stitches. She's doing great now and doesn't seem at all bothered by her head.

Children's Museum Fun

Maggie took Grandpa Ron to the Children's Museum to show him how much fun it is. They had a new section that is set up like a vet office. Maggie had a great time taking care of all of the kittys. She also taught Grandpa Ron how to catch a fish (she must have learned from her dad).

Visit to Texas

Maggie and Mom went to Austin, Texas to visit one of Mom's old friends, Bee. Maggie had lots of fun playing with Bee's boys- Holden and Waker. Unfortunately, Maggie got an ear infection while we were visiting so she wasn't feeling well most of the weekend (hence all of the bottles). But she did still manage to enjoy riding a choo-choo train at the park.

Maggie LOVED baby Waker. She wanted to give him lots of hugs and kisses- it was so sweet.

Holden read Maggie stories before bed.

Giving Waker his pacifier. Where did she learn to do this? She's never used a pacifier herself.

Holden was feeding Maggie Cheerios.
