Crawfish Boil 2011

Another year, another crawfish boil. It was only supposed to be about 40 degrees this year in Denver, so we moved the party to our "new" (it was built in the fall) garage.

tMud Bugs!

Maggie was not so sure about the crawfish- she was a little scared. Especially when cousin Cory brought them around.

She has no idea that there is a crawfish next to her in this picture. Daddy peeled and cleaned a crawfish for Maggie to eat ... although didn't tell her what it was. She said "mmm..." and still insists that she didn't eat any. Mom also ate a crawfish this year!

Easter

Maggie was GREAT at dying Easter eggs. All of the eggs she dyed were amarillo (yellow).

She was great at hunting for eggs in the yard (she was competing with her Aunt Emily, Uncle Aaron and lots of friends)

There might have been a hunt geared towards adults since we were also celebrating Aunt Emily's 21st birthday!

Wearing her new Cubbies hat with Daddy.

Potty Trained!

In early March, Maggie decided that she wanted to use the potty. It took just a few days for her to be consistent. Now she even naps in underwear!

Sick Girl

Maggie had pink eye and an ear infection which wiped her out for a few days. But she was so snuggley!

Cubbies vs. Rockies

Maggie is a Cubs fan! She loves to wear her shirts and hat (like Daddy). She went to the third Cubs game when they were in Denver. Of course, she tailgated before the game too!
She loved the ice cream in the stadium :)

Princess' on Ice

Me and Mingi (Grandma Grant) took Maggie to see Princess' on Ice. She was really serious about watching the first act (hardly smiled even). The second act was all Cinderella (Maggie's favorite) and she clapped and laughed through the whole act! It was so much fun to watch her ... and she wore her princess dress!

Hiking

We took Maggie (and Aunt Emily) up to Evergreen for a hike. Maggie decided that she wanted to walk (rather than ride in the backpack). About a mile in, she finally got tired of walking but didn't want to ride still. We decided to look for wildlife, specifically reindeer, and all of a sudden the backpack was a hit.
We had to stop for a while to climb on the "humongous" rocks!

Maggie and Emily fell asleep as soon as we got in the car :)
