For anyone who has been to Colorado, you can tell by the bumper stickers on cars who is a native of Colorado (they sure take an extreme amount of pride in that). So we were excited that Maggie can someday take part in the pride that comes with being born in Colorado. Yesterday we took her for her first hike. She slept almost the whole time except when a strong breeze would blow and wake her up. She buried her face in the side of her carrier so she couldn't feel the wind (FYI- Maggie doesn't like wind...she always makes faces when it blows on her). But she seemed comfortable being outdoors- she really is a Colorado girl.
