Christmas Part 1

Maggie tried to convince us this year that she was not scared of seeing Santa. She was telling us what she was going to tell him she wanted for Christmas (an Elmo Backpack) and waved to him. But when it came time to see him... she screamed and wanted nothing to do with him, again.

Dad let Santa know what Maggie wanted, since she couldn't get it out. Later she retold the story of visiting Santa to some friends by saying that she was scared and crying... she didn't even try to hide it :)

Hangin out with Gapa Ron waiting for Christmas day...

Mom and Dad redid an empty room to become a playroom for Maggie. She was so excited to see all of her toys in one place. Obviously, Santa brought an Elmo backpack, which she wore all morning.

Equipped with a new bike horn and Elmo on her back, Maggie took a Christmas day bike ride. It was so warm in Denver we were outside without jackets and had the windows in the house open.

A masterpiece by Maggie... she named it "Moon and airplanes" (she's painting a circular moon in this picture)

No Peeky Roast Beefy... the oven door was taped closed and had a sign on it for anyone who was tempted to peek too soon!
