This was our first time camping at the Sand Dunes near Alamosa, CO. We spent the weekend camping with Juan and Nikki. We played on the dunes, went for several hikes and just enjoyed being outside!

Night hike on the dunes... Maggie loved playing on them. We also realized that this was the first time that she had ever been in real sand.
Mag wore sunglasses (at night) to keep the blowing sand out of her eyes. 
Eating an apple on the hike. Maggie rode for a good part of the hike on Daddy's back. She took 2 short naps and sang lots of songs for us while we hiked.
... Until we got to the creek. Then Maggie LOVED running and splashing in the water. She walked (well, ran) for almost an hour back to our campsite.
Oh yeah, we live in Colorado :)
Hiking into a water fall... at first Maggie was scared (and crying) but eventually wanted to play in the water (although, this water was much colder)
